Rains Golf brought the heat in their first tournament of the season! They played our home tournament at Lake Fork Golf Course and brought home 1st place shooting 341 and 3rd place, shooting 348! Toby Herndon and Daniel Alvarado tied for 3rd individually and Karson Wallace won individually over all with a 76! LET'S GO RAINS GOLF!

📢 School Closed for MLK Day 📢 In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Rains ISD schools and offices will be closed Monday, January 20, 2025. All classes will resume on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Nova Curry, a member of the Rains High School Band, was selected as a member of the 2025 ATSSB All-State Band. She was chosen for this honor in competitive auditions held this year across the state at region and area levels. The ATSSB All-State Band will present a concert beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in the Lila Cockrell Theatre of the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center in downtown San Antonio. Nova, a percussionist, is the first student from Rains ISD to earn this distinct honor. #WildcatProud #WeAreRains

Please note, if you do not see a school cancellation on our website, social media, or through email, it means that Rains ISD schools are open and on their normal schedule.
