🔔 Hand-Foot-and-Mouth Disease UPDATE 🔔 Parents/Guardians: RISD Health Services has updated the requirements for students returning to school after contracting HFMD! Students may return to school once they are fever-free for 24 consecutive hours without the use of fever-reducing medication AND their rash is clearing with no signs of fluid coming from sores.

Howdy, parents! Sheriff Woody here, and I've got some mighty important news to share about how seriously RISD takes your child's safety, especially when it comes to evacuation drills. RISD's teachers and staff are committed to ensuring your little ones are safe and sound while they're at school.
Today, Bulls-Eye and I had the pleasure to watch the Elementary Campus practice their Evacuation drill. They did such a great job! Way to go!
We believe in keeping parents in the loop. We will share information about safety measures, evacuation drill schedules, and how you can reinforce these safety practices at home.
So, dear parents, rest easy knowing that RISD takes your child's safety very seriously. Evacuation drills are a part of their commitment to ensuring your kids are well-prepared and equipped to handle unexpected situations. It's all about teaching them to be brave and resourceful, just like us toys!
