Directions for Accessing Student Results via the Paper STAAR Report Card

  1. Find the unique access code on your child’s paper STAAR report card.

  2. Visit TexasAssessment.Gov and enter the access code and date of birth.

  3. Review your child’s STAAR results and the personalized resources to support learning at home.

  4. At the beginning of the school year, discuss the results with your child’s teacher and work together to support your child’s learning.

 

Instrucciones para acceder a los resultados de los estudiantes vía el informe de resultados de STAAR en formato impreso (en papel)

  1. Encuentra el código de acceso único en el informe de resultados de la prueba STAAR de tu hijo/a.      

  2. Visita TexasAssessment.gov e ingresa el código de acceso y la fecha de nacimiento del estudiante.

  3. Revisa los resultados de STAAR de tu hijo/a y mira los recursos personalizados para apoyar el aprendizaje en casa.

  4. Al inicio del año escolar, habla con el maestro de tu hijo/a sobre estos resultados y trabajen juntos para apoyar su aprendizaje.

  1. Log into your district’s parent portal.

  2. Click the District Link>Student Profile>Cambium Assessment for direct access to your child’s STAAR results.

  3. Review your child’s STAAR results and the personalized resources to support learning at home.

  4. At the beginning of the school year, discuss the results with your child’s teacher and work together to support your child’s learning.

 

Instrucciones para acceder a los resultados de los estudiantes vía inicio de sesión único (SSO)

  1. Ingresa al portal para padres de familia de tu distrito.  

  2. Haz clic sobre District Link>Student Profile>Cambium Assessment para acceder directamente a los resultados de STAAR de tu hijo/a.

  3. Revisa los resultados de STAAR de tu hijo/a y mira los recursos personalizados para apoyar el aprendizaje en casa.

  4. Al inicio del año escolar, habla con el maestro de tu hijo/a sobre estos resultados y trabajen juntos para apoyar su aprendizaje.

"Please be advised that Rains ISD must follow the school laws of this State. Currently, there is no parental right to “opt out” of standardized tests in Texas. See Tex. Educ. Code § 26.010(a) (“A parent is not entitled to remove the parent’s child from a class or other school activity to avoid a test[.]”). If the student refuses the testing opportunity provided, their test will be submitted for scoring. This could result in the student being placed in required HB 4545 accelerated instruction during the next school year or even during the summer break. In addition, the student’s score would have a negative impact on the district’s accountability rating. If you desire to change this law, then I encourage you to discuss this with your State Representative and Senator, as well as the Texas Education Agency. Rains ISD, however, will continue to administer the legally mandated STAAR assessments."
